As a new photographer around Hy-Tekk I wasn’t sure what to expect at these shows, but I have yet to leave one anything less than elated. WE HAD A BLAST! Just another baller night at the Granada in great company with great music.

2014 is going to be an awesome year for electronic dance music. Canadian bass master Excision is gearing up with Dirty Phonics and Ill Gates for his upcoming tour in North America. These shows will be blasting his signature 150,000 watts of sound and won’t disappoint. The combination of these artists together should make for a sweet experience. Each so individually unique in their music styles. This tour will make a stop in Kansas City on February 18th at the Midland Theatre so don’t miss out!
KC natives Aplsoz and Gee Watts teamed up for an epic collaboration of the minds on their new single called “In the Music”. Where sonic force meets crisp, vibrant verses you can find these two forging fully captivating, bass soaked raptronica. Coming off of his last release “Watts Up,” that featured Kendrick Lamar Gee Watts is showing more and more promise to be one of the top emcees around.
